Made for big cats

We use these steps to get our Maine Coon kitten to his wall hammock which we have high on our wall.
The build and materials are rock solid unlike cheaper versions we have looked at before. These steps have a support underneath the platform that make sure there is no movement between the backplate and the platform itself so we are happy that it will continue to support his weight as he grows up. As you can see they are big enough for him to relax on at the moment so we are sure they will be big enough to use as stepping stones when he is bigger.
The material on top of the platform is held in place by 4 velcro pads that securely fixes it in place and stops any movement of the material even if our kitten misjudges the landing and I am confident that they will continue to do so when he is bigger. The material itself is strong and doesn't seem to fray when he digs his claws in and he is jumping up these at full speed already with no slipping under his feet.
We did use different rawl plugs and bolts to install it as we were a bit unsure about the supplied ones, they are probably strong enough to hold onto the drywall but we had some industrial ones here so used them instead.
One small issue we found is that some of the screws that hold the platform to the base were not flush with the back and had to be tightened just to stop them sticking out a small amount. Other than that we are very happy that we chose these steps over other ones and will buy any future cat accessories we need from here.

Karel de kat is heeeeeel erg blij met zijn klimmuur….de hangmatten vind hij helemaal geweldig,hij kan er helemaal languit in liggen…..het materiaal is van uitstekende kwaliteit
